Project 1

Scenario

When Revnmore engaged with this client, they were behind revenue & Gross Operating Profit budget by $90K & $25K respectively.

What was used from the Revenue Management kit?

A part time Revenue Manager that focused on:

  • Embed a revenue / commercial culture to key hotel leadership stakeholders
  • Pricing & yield management strategies
  • Forecasting & refined business/segmentation mix

Result at project completion

  • Ahead of revenue & GOP budget by $360K & $75K respectively.
  • Hotel leadership team commercially ready to lead post the project.
  • In 6 months the hotel has maintained/grown market share and grown Average Rate Index (ADRI) by 2 points.

Project 2

Scenario

Hotel needed a short term revenue manager solution to cover a short term gap – to ensure minimal disruption to the business.

What was used from the Revenue Management kit?

A part time Revenue Manager that focused on:

  • Embed a revenue / commercial culture to key hotel leadership stakeholders
  • Pricing & yield management strategies
  • Forecasting & refined business/segmentation mix

Result at project completion

  • Ensure the hotel’s revenue strategy remains inline for the rest of the year
  • Ongoing development of reservations
  • Understanding the performance of the hotels club room product.
  • Turned around the market share performance to be ahead of budget (was behind budget by 4 points when we started ~ $260K ahead of RGI forecast)

Project 3

Scenario

Hotel owner approached Revnmore Consulting to lead the operator selection for a hotel apartment rebrand.

Revnmore was able to:

  • Invite the major hotel operators (IHG, Marriott, Accor & Hilton) to solicit their respective bid
  • Encouraged the operators to ‘think outside the box’ when presenting their bid
  • Presented the bid’s with a financial and investment ‘lense’ to the owner and negotiated the best deal with the hotel operators

Result at project completion

  • The owner selected the best bid that was inline with their financial and investment objectives.
